Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure full-stack software solutions.
- Develop frontend and backend applications, middleware, APIs, microservices, schedulers, and standalone Java/Spring Boot applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, knowledge sharing, and technology communities.
- Apply secure coding, error handling, risk management, and control-strengthening practices.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD delivery, code quality, and operational excellence for Commercial Issuing products.
- Guide team members or act as a technical advisor and stakeholder contact as applicable to the position.
Requirements
- Proficiency developing frontend and backend applications as a full-stack developer.
- Proficiency with Java, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Core Spring Framework, Spring Security, ORM, JPA, Hibernate, and unit testing.
- Experience developing microservices, schedulers, and standalone applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and MQ.
- Working knowledge of React JS or Angular JS for UI development.
- Working knowledge of MS-SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Working knowledge of SonarQube, Veracode, Maven, Gradle, Git, and GitLab.
- Working knowledge of Agile development using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience or knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipeline management, and GenAI tools such as Claude and Git Duo is valued.
- Python experience is nice to have.
- Ability to demonstrate relevant risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
