Base Salary
$125k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain quantitative data processing pipelines for research, analytics, and production environments.
- Build and optimize workflows for large-scale financial datasets across ingestion, transformation, and delivery layers.
- Use AWS and Azure cloud environments and services to support distributed computation and automation.
- Translate quantitative modeling requirements into robust, production-ready systems in collaboration with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Refactor legacy processes and support continuous improvement of existing implementations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance while optimizing speed, cost, scalability, and reliability.
- Coordinate the work of other developers and contribute leadership, documentation, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Python is required.
- Experience with data wrangling and creating Python data pipelines is strongly desired.
- Familiarity with programming, computing, and searching algorithms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux, PySpark, ETL technologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake is a plus.
- A technical degree in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to innovate are desired.
- Familiarity with finance and fixed income is a plus.
