Responsibilities
- Lead architecture assessment, modernization planning, and migration of enterprise Java applications.
- Define technical architecture, implementation approaches, migration patterns, and architectural standards for complex Java-based applications.
- Assess dependencies, frameworks, integrations, infrastructure components, security controls, compatibility issues, risks, and remediation requirements.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing systems and integration solutions.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, solution designs, and migration runbooks.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams and mentor developers and technical leads.
- Lead technical discussions with client architects, application, infrastructure, security, database, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Support troubleshooting, technical estimation, implementation planning, design reviews, architecture governance, and technical decision-making.
- Use AI-assisted engineering and modernization tools for discovery, code analysis, remediation, testing, documentation, and impact assessment.
- Define quality controls and governance to ensure AI-generated outputs are validated, secure, and production-ready.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or a similar field, or equivalent working experience.
- At least 12 years of IT experience, including significant Java application development, architecture, and technical leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading complex application modernization, migration, or transformation initiatives.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale programs involving multiple applications, development teams, and stakeholders.
- Experience working in large and complex enterprise environments with mission-critical applications.
