Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing, deploying, and improving software application elements and their interactions with Telstra processes and systems.
  • Translate business requirements into reliable, timely, high-quality, and cost-effective software applications, products, services, or systems.
  • Learn and apply DevOps practices, processes, terminology, tools, and artefacts.
  • Contribute to technology guidelines and standards for technology design and deployment.
  • Support continuous integration, quality assurance monitoring, testing, and operational monitoring activities.
  • Collaborate with team members under close supervision and develop software engineering knowledge and experience.

Requirements

  • Ability or willingness to learn software engineering and DevOps practices, processes, tools, and terminology.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team, learn continuously, adapt to feedback, and work under close supervision.
  • Exposure to software development, deployment, testing, cloud, security testing, and operational monitoring technologies is relevant to the role.
