Responsibilities
- Assist development and operations teams with software delivery automation and improvement.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines supporting deployments from development through production.
- Support cloud infrastructure operations under senior engineer guidance.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot issues across applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
- Build scripts, tools, and automation that improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, and cloud infrastructure teams.
- Contribute to reliable, scalable, secure cloud services and production operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Fresh graduate or early-career candidate with strong interest in Cloud DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or automation.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure through coursework, projects, internships, or self-learning.
- Foundational understanding of software development and operating system concepts.
- Hands-on Jenkins experience building or modifying pipelines for Docker, Terraform, and Helm and troubleshooting deployment issues.
- Proficiency provisioning AWS infrastructure with Terraform, including modules, state management, and pipeline-driven deployments.
- Experience creating Dockerfiles, containerizing Java, Python, and ReactJS applications, and supporting VM-to-EKS migrations.
- Understanding of Kubernetes objects and experience deploying and debugging applications on EKS.
- Proficiency writing and maintaining backend Java or Python code and debugging application-level issues.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and command-line usage.
- Preferred experience includes academic, internship, or personal projects involving cloud, DevOps, automation, or backend systems.
- Preferred familiarity with Git, networking concepts, monitoring or logging tools, microservices, cloud security, distributed systems, production operations, and reliability engineering.
