Base Salary
$175k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own automated end-to-end and call-path test suites and release-gating checks.
- Build staging-based automated SIP test calls that verify connection, audio, voicemail, and call records.
- Continuously verify emergency calling and expand regression coverage for voicemail, contact approval, and missed calls.
- Automate release processes across mobile, backend, and firmware.
- Shape CI/CD execution and deployment gates, including which checks run on pull requests and block releases.
- Develop repeatable firmware release testing, device emulation, and test hooks.
- Measure test coverage, reliability signals, and defects caught before release.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with deep production test automation experience.
- Experience building fast, deterministic, CI-integrated end-to-end test suites that engineers trust.
- Ability to work across distributed systems, telemetry, and behavior-focused testing.
- Fluency using AI for diagnosis, analysis, and testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience building test harnesses, fixtures, and CI tooling.
- Collaborative, low-ego working style.
- VoIP or telephony testing with SIP/RTP, sipp, or synthetic call monitoring is a bonus.
- Mobile release testing across iOS and Android is a bonus.
- Hardware-in-the-loop testing for embedded devices is a bonus.
