Responsibilities
- Architect and design cloud-native, cloud-agnostic telecom and network management platforms.
- Lead the creation of highly available, reliable, secure microservices and guide database and open-source software development.
- Mentor and guide engineers while promoting innovation and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, document architectural decisions, and communicate best practices.
- Track industry trends, propose platform enhancements, and participate in on-call support during critical incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 10+ years of experience as an R&D Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong background in telecom and network management.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture and engineering, including microservices, high availability, and reliability.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, and Linux.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and associated open-source software.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and database management is preferred.
- Experience with observability tools and practices is preferred.
