Responsibilities
- Partner with IT and business leaders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable value through AI-enabled solutions.
- Define future-state architectures and build scalable, reusable AI agents, intelligent workflows, APIs, integrations, and platform services.
- Deliver MVPs and evolve them into secure production systems through monitoring, evaluation, optimization, automated delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies, platforms, and developer tools across Azure and AWS environments.
- Create architecture blueprints, data flows, technical documentation, and governance artifacts for secure and compliant delivery.
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery, including priorities, risks, dependencies, stakeholder engagement, adoption, and operational readiness.
- Develop reusable standards, training, architecture patterns, and improvements for AI-enabled software development practices.
- Coach teams on responsible AI adoption and secure development practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development, solution engineering, or a related technical field.
- A record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through adoption and operational readiness.
- Hands-on experience with Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
- Experience building solutions across cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS using modern development practices, DevOps, GitHub, and infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience building and operating production AI-native applications and workflows involving large language models, agentic architectures, orchestration frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, APIs, observability, model evaluation, and troubleshooting AI failure modes.
- Knowledge of security, privacy, governance, identity management, cost optimization, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong collaboration, communication, influence, product thinking, and business problem-solving skills across technology, data, security, risk, and business teams.
- Experience in startup, consulting, platform enablement, or forward-deployed engineering environments is an asset.

- Annual base salary range of $98,000 - $138,000 CAD, plus eligibility for discretionary incentive plans.
