Base Salary
$233k - $349k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the regional team of Enterprise Pre-Sales Systems Engineers.
- Support complex customer evaluations, troubleshooting, Proofs of Concept, and challenging customer environments.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, train, and conduct management activities for Systems Engineers.
- Serve as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales technical issues.
- Build relationships with key customers and channel partners and maintain ongoing channel enablement.
- Act as a floating Systems Engineer to provide coverage for team members when needed.
- Travel approximately 30% within the region.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior or Pre-Sales Systems Engineer.
- 3+ years of pre-sales management experience.
- Deep knowledge of virtualization and storage markets with design capabilities.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and willingness to support deal-closing efforts.
Benefits
- Base pay range is $233,000–$349,000 per year, excluding compensation figures from additional compensation elements.
- May include sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, medical and financial benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and paid vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
- Primarily remote with no specific in-office requirement, though occasional local-office attendance or travel may be required based on business needs.
