Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available automation and software solutions across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks, intelligent workflow patterns, deployment automation, AI-enabled platform capabilities, governance validation, and developer enablement solutions.
- Establish and refine software engineering standards, practices, governance mechanisms, and solution patterns across multiple teams.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement performance, reliability, scalability, and platform modernization improvements.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, training, design reviews, and work delegation for other engineers.
- Lead large or complex initiatives, coordinate technical work across teams, evaluate emerging technologies, and contribute to long-term technical plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.
- Preferred qualifications include deep ServiceNow administration and development expertise, ServiceNow upgrades, Automated Test Framework, platform performance optimization, observability and telemetry, ServiceNow security architecture, regulated-environment experience, API design and integration, automation frameworks, workflow and deployment automation, governance and compliance validation, and high-scale environment support.
