Responsibilities
- Create new primitives to expand the product feature set of Vercel CDN.
- Optimize the Vercel CDN experience to improve reliability and lower latency.
- Analyze web latency to find sources of tail latency.
- Advance the developer experience for 15+ developers working primarily in Lua.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and product teams to identify and solve problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Lua.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers and HTTP.
- Intrigued by complex challenges serving petabytes of data and billions of requests.
- A collaborative team player who values strong teamwork.
- Keen to experiment and deliver secure and reliable systems.
