Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, implementation, validation, and delivery of scalable product features across backend and frontend layers.
- Develop Java backend services using Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud-native patterns.
- Develop and integrate responsive web applications using React or Angular and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Provide technical leadership through design direction, implementation guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and architecture collaboration.
- Own application deployments and chart definitions for Kubernetes-based applications.
- Ensure technical quality through unit-test coverage, development and security processes, and identification of security vulnerabilities.
- Handle customer-escalated issues and support resolution of complex technical problems.
- Drive proofs of concept, innovation, performance and scalability improvements, and developer productivity initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of application development experience, including strong hands-on Java full-stack development.
- Strong experience designing and implementing REST API-based backend applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Mandatory experience with React or Angular, UI architecture collaboration, frontend implementation review, and backend integration.
- Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, SOLID design principles, and common design patterns.
- Working experience with a cloud stack such as GCP or AWS and exposure to Kubernetes-based applications.
- Good exposure to relational databases such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Added experience with Python or Node.js, unit testing, BDD automation frameworks, microservices architecture, and Docker-based applications.
- Ability to adapt across languages, frameworks, and platforms; use of AI in routine work or personal proofs of concept is an advantage.
