Base Salary
$117k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and extend Go microservices that orchestrate multi-container security test suites.
- Build policy-based sidecar gateways enforcing least privilege and blast-radius limits across test environments and production.
- Implement findings-processing pipelines that deduplicate, suppress noise, and escalate critical security findings.
- Design per-suite secrets isolation with dedicated vaults, service accounts, and automated credential rotation.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes using Helm and Terraform on AWS.
- Integrate with internal LLM gateway services to track token usage and control scan costs.
- Implement RBAC, network sandboxing, geofencing, and secure production expansion for automated red-teaming.
- Monitor and troubleshoot distributed components while maintaining findings-pipeline data integrity.
- Build production-grade software using AI-assisted development workflows and evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
- Contribute to system designs, constraints, standards, and context that enable reliable AI-assisted engineering.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Go; Python or Java experience is also acceptable.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and REST or gRPC APIs.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Terraform in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10, least privilege, and secrets management.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed, containerized systems.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with production-safety constraints.
- A demonstrated AI-first engineering approach and experience using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Advanced prompt-engineering skills and ability to develop reliable system context for AI outputs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with OPA or other fine-grained authorization frameworks.
- Preferred: exposure to AI/LLM security, adversarial testing, or red-teaming.
- Preferred: experience with HashiCorp Vault or cloud KMS technologies.
- Preferred: familiarity with sidecar proxy/gateway patterns and mTLS.
- Preferred: experience with IAM, cybersecurity, or compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or SOC 2.
