Base Salary
$130k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and other functions to understand workflows and define automation opportunities.
- Build AI-powered automations and internal tools using AI-native platforms, scripting, APIs, and other pragmatic technologies.
- Integrate LLMs, agents, RAG patterns, and prompt design with existing systems to deliver workflow outcomes.
- Ship working prototypes quickly, then add reliability, observability, error handling, monitoring, documentation, and reusability for production use.
- Coach non-technical colleagues, review their automations, run working sessions and office hours, and develop shared documentation.
- Create reusable components, prompt libraries, integration patterns, automation templates, and frameworks for organization-wide use.
- Partner with Engineering and IT on platform decisions and define Later’s automation roadmap.
- Measure and document business impact across teams, including hours saved, error reduction, and cycle-time improvements.
Requirements
- A track record of building and shipping automations, internal tools, or AI-powered workflows with measurable business impact.
- Strong fluency with LLMs, agents, RAG, and prompt design, plus the ability to connect APIs, scripts, and no-code or low-code platforms.
- A business-first approach to clarifying ambiguous problems and identifying high-impact automation opportunities.
- Resourcefulness and a bias toward shipping working versions quickly and iterating based on results.
- Judgment about when one-off solutions should be hardened into scalable, reusable systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical tradeoffs and coach non-technical audiences.
- Experience in internal tools, RevOps, BizOps, or applied AI is a plus.
- Experience supporting or training non-technical builders is a bonus.
- Comfort pulling, cleaning, and reasoning about data.
