Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, improve, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Use serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate systems with existing internal systems and Data Fabric.
- Participate in technology roadmaps, architecture discussions, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting networks, service operations, and quality.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Research and develop software applications that extend and improve Equifax solutions.
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud technology, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing microservices using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- 5+ years of experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform constructs.
- Preferred experience with Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, Angular, Bootstrap, Java/J2EE, SOA, Microservices, SVN/Git, GitHub, Maven, Gradle, SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, Confluence, JDK, JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, and SoapUI.
