Responsibilities
- Assess, design, and implement Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, Linux, OpenShift Data Foundation, and Kubernetes-based solutions.
- Implement automated, containerized cloud application platforms involving networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and resilience.
- Perform system architecture, software specification and design, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Serve as an on-site subject matter expert addressing customers’ technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs.
- Deliver projects on time and within scope, including project journals, status reports, and other documentation.
- Participate in sales and proposal presentations and ongoing account activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is listed as an additional qualification.
- At least 3 years of Linux system administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or a derivative.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies.
- At least 2 years of scripting or programming experience.
- Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, virtualized systems, client-based security, repositories, and core builds.
- Strong technical, communication, learning, and customer-facing abilities.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat products is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Incremental Agile, and DevOps practices is preferred.
- Red Hat certifications and Spanish fluency are preferred.
