Responsibilities
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex technical incidents in SAP S/4HANA OTC, P2P, and TM environments.
- Deliver targeted ABAP Object-Oriented code fixes while preserving existing designs and preventing regressions.
- Interpret system logs, ABAP traces, and debugging output to identify root causes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CPI flows, API calls, and Kafka interfaces, escalating failures when necessary.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business issues into technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation and contribute to the AMS knowledge base.
- Follow SAP standards, coding best practices, and clean-code principles.
- Support testing activities for code changes and patches.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of ABAP Object-Oriented development experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience is required.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills using the ABAP Debugger, system logs, and traces.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting CPI, API, and Kafka integration interfaces.
- Functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA OTC, P2P, and TM processes.
- Ability to implement focused code fixes without compromising design integrity.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Methodical, service-oriented approach with strong documentation habits.
