Quality Assurance Engineer

- Test features and small feature sets independently.
- Break down quality-related problems and estimate task timelines.
- Write, execute, and monitor automated UI, API, and integration test suites.
- Apply testing types and techniques throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create test plans, use cases, and effective tests for functional requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams on bug fixing and build plans.
- Configure testing tools and assist junior staff when needed.
- Define quality metrics, best practices, and coding patterns.
- Work with quality leaders and development teams to deliver compliant, functional software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Programming experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with UI test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or WebDriverIO and TypeScript or Java.
- Experience testing and automating APIs using Karate, Rest Assured, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of core data structures and algorithms.
- Experience writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites.
- Understanding of infrastructure for large distributed web applications.
- Ability to make basic technology choices, estimate tasks, clarify requirements, and adapt to changing environments.
