Base Salary
$135k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows for automated build, testing, approval, and deployment across development, test, and production environments.
- Provide DevOps and process automation expertise for data-centric and analytical applications.
- Support the maintenance, stability, and performance of the Microsoft Azure cloud.
- Administer Git-based source control, including branching strategies, versioning standards, and code promotion practices.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions for cloud storage, compute, and networking resources.
- Use Docker or Podman to standardize application deployments.
- Apply configuration management and security guidelines aligned with enterprise standards.
- Provide production support including issue triage, root cause analysis, prioritization, and resolution coordination.
- Collaborate with data engineers, researchers, product, and platform engineering on complex initiatives.
- Improve DevOps standards, tools, and operational processes.
Requirements
- Six years of DevOps experience in cloud-based software delivery.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting technology applications or digital products with DevOps and process automation methods.
- Experience implementing and administering Git-based repositories, branching, and version control standards.
- Expertise developing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, including approval gates.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake and data platform ecosystems.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code methods, ideally in Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.
- Background in configuration management, security, production support, incident management, and complex issue diagnosis.
- Experience delivering high-intensity, high-complexity projects.
- Experience with financial services or investment management is required.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical collaborators.
