Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance, scalable services and components for an enterprise AI platform.
- Apply software design patterns and development practices that support maintainability, reusability, and testability.
- Translate platform and product requirements into scalable, modular AI, software, and infrastructure components.
- Own integration of developed components and help ensure efficient operation and high availability.
- Implement monitoring and alerting to identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
- Champion practices that streamline software development and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, architecture, product, and design teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud services.
- Proficiency with container and orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks for deploying and managing cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience across the full-stack development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, building, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Strong software development skills and experience with more than one of Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, or C++.
- AI/ML/data experience is strongly preferred, including experience building and managing ML/AI platforms and services.
- Familiarity with MLOps lifecycles, frameworks, and tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern generative AI/LLM services and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex is highly desired.
- Ability to learn, experiment, build, operate, and improve software in a collaborative environment.
