Base Salary

$141k - $229k/yr

Responsibilities

Participate across the software development lifecycle, taking features from concept through production release.
Build backend services, APIs, data models, integrations, and internal operational workflows.
Develop frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
Translate business requirements into clean, extensible backend and frontend designs with Product, Engineering, and partner teams.
Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and user-interface issues across a distributed codebase.
Contribute technical documentation and improve system design, code quality, observability, and engineering practices.
Use AI tooling, preferably Claude, to accelerate software design, architecture, and implementation while applying sound engineering judgment.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience building production applications, with substantial backend and meaningful frontend experience.
At least 3 years of experience or strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong database and data-modeling fundamentals across relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
Experience designing and building APIs and service integrations for scalable product development.
At least 3 years of modern frontend development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
Experience with containerization and orchestration infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, visualization, and process-documentation skills.
Familiarity with security, documentation, testing, and monitoring best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Comfort using AI tooling, preferably Claude, for solution design, system architecture, and implementation.
Preferred experience with white-label or multi-tenant architectures, Apache Kafka, Python, pytest, unittest, AWS, AWS Lambda, shared design systems, Svelte, SvelteKit, Twitch, customer-facing applications, and internal tools.
