Responsibilities
- Design and build customer solutions for the Android platform in collaboration with project stakeholders and customers.
- Work independently across the team’s scope, providing technical and procedural guidance and making development decisions.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including operational support and incident resolution.
- Contribute to architectural design decisions using a customer-centric approach.
- Deliver projects that improve scalability, performance, and new product value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year building native Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
- Broad and deep knowledge of Android architectural components such as Room, LiveData, Jetpack, and Compose, plus MVVM architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and understanding of multithreading, concurrent programming, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and ship high-quality, performant, and reliable software products.
- Working knowledge of software engineering techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with adjacent teams.
- Experience with Coroutines and Flows and building apps with offline capabilities is a plus.
