Base Salary

$139k - $243k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, operate, and continuously improve AI agents that automate operational, engineering, and support workflows.
  • Develop LLM-based agent orchestration frameworks with tool integrations, structured workflows, and workflow automation patterns.
  • Build automation pipelines combining AI reasoning with deterministic systems, controls, and operational processes.
  • Implement Python services integrating AI-agent execution with internal platforms, APIs, ITSM systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
  • Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines for AI-enabled services and automation platforms.
  • Escalate complex AI and automation issues, improve reliability, and reduce manual operational effort.
  • Document architectures and workflows, research emerging AI technologies, and develop proofs of concept.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Expert-level Python development experience with strong knowledge of automation and orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, using Git, and integrating systems through REST APIs.
  • Proficiency with YAML and JSON.
  • Experience building AI agents, autonomous systems, or AI-driven automation solutions, including familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and tool-calling frameworks.
  • Experience combining AI decision logic with deterministic automation and designing event-driven, workflow-based systems.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, Ansible or other configuration-management experience; AWS experience or professional certifications; JavaScript, database, and modern application-development experience; and experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
