Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative Seller Center features to improve the online retail experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to develop effective solutions.
- Use the SCAYLE platform to manage product and order information efficiently.
- Optimize application performance through targeted SQL query improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and promote high standards and continuous improvement of the codebase.
- Provide technical support and analyze and resolve issues to maintain a stable and reliable service.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-supported features to optimize and automate workflows.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or other JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or comparable data storage solutions.
- Strong commitment to clean, efficient, maintainable code and high codebase quality.
- Experience working in an English-speaking environment.
- German comprehension at C1 level; active German language skills are advantageous but not required.
- Very strong coding skills with Python and deep Django expertise are preferred.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is preferred.
- Open-source contributions, greenfield or startup experience, and the ability to adapt products quickly to market requirements are advantageous.
