Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and report automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Build, improve, and maintain reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and validation tools.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, acceptance criteria, and automation backlogs.
- Track defects, resolutions, bug fixes, test coverage, deployment risks, and mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, developers, testers, clients, business subject matter experts, and project management.
- Develop strategies and tools that support continuous deployment practices.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects and document automation processes according to company guidelines.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in software engineering and automation testing.
- Experience understanding software requirements, designing technical solutions, and resolving complex technical design issues.
- Experience developing automated testing tools, test cases, validation processes, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Ability to perform functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Ability to track defects and quality metrics and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Knowledge of software development standards, accepted design patterns, documentation practices, and industry standards.
