Responsibilities
- Own development, testing, and deployment tasks at the application or software-component level.
- Troubleshoot and refactor existing code.
- Adopt new languages and architecture patterns as needed.
- Influence technical decisions made by the team.
- Participate in requirements elaboration, prioritization, and effort estimation.
- Support automation, pipelines, and virtualization through CI/CD capabilities.
- Assist peers and other team members.
- Follow Mastercard security policies and practices, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected security violations, and complete mandatory security training.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
- Hands-on knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and SQL queries.
- Understanding of basic design patterns and requirements analysis.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts and capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and using TDD and BDD in software development processes.
- Awareness of personal strengths and improvement areas, with willingness to seek feedback and suggestions.
