Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop features for large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
- Create well-defined interfaces and modular components through system design and code reviews.
- Write clean, optimized code and improve service test coverage through integration testing.
- Build services that are secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, reusable, portable, and maintainable.
- Use data and telemetry to make engineering decisions and address customer and partner needs.
- Communicate technical details across organizational boundaries and customers.
- Champion and model AI usage across the software development lifecycle and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 8+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
