Solution Architect
Schneider ElectricResponsibilities
- Provide presales technical leadership and serve as a trusted advisor on complex architectures, systems, and products.
- Develop customer technical value propositions and support RFI/RFP service proposals with sales and quotations teams.
- Validate quotation technical integrity and align customized solutions with field execution leaders.
- Create reference architectures and segment solution requirements.
- Advise strategic and named accounts on customer strategy and interface with customer technical teams.
- Conduct customer site walks, attend sales engagements, and educate customers through learning sessions, thought leadership, and industry conferences.
- Coach internal sales teams and mentor inside and system architects.
- Drive continuous improvement and provide feedback on offer management and service offer evolution.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in field operations, industry, and sales within the electrical industry.
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited institution preferred; relevant work experience may be considered, potentially with additional electrical theory and safety training.
- Understanding of Schneider Electric portfolios, including APC, Square D, ASCO, digital, and software offerings preferred.
- Proficiency with digital tools and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, along with data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel 50% or more as required.
- Strong communication, strategic planning, collaboration, relationship-building, influencing, problem-solving, and change-management skills.
- Understanding of business finance and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
