Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate scalable data ingestion pipelines for pentest results, assets, vulnerabilities, and network topology data.
- Own end-to-end pipeline feature delivery, including schema design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build and maintain Go and/or Python ETL components that normalize heterogeneous execution-engine inputs.
- Define and evolve data contracts with Asset Inventory and Data Platform teams.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues involving pipeline latency, data correctness, and throughput.
- Contribute to code and design reviews and provide engineering guidance to P3 engineers.
- Instrument services, write runbooks, and operate services throughout their full lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go and/or Python.
- Production experience building and operating streaming or batch data pipelines or ETL systems.
- Working knowledge of message queues or event streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
- Understanding of data normalization, schema evolution, and backward compatibility.
- Experience running services on Kubernetes and in containerized environments with Docker.
- Experience deploying and debugging distributed systems in AWS or an equivalent cloud.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly through design documents, pull request descriptions, and asynchronous updates.
- Preferred experience includes cybersecurity or security tooling, vulnerability or threat data, graph databases such as Neo4j or DGraph, Apache Kafka at production scale, and offensive security or pentest workflows.
