Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and translate customer needs into technical requirements.
- Develop technical strategies aligned with customer business goals in collaboration with sales, account management, product, and other stakeholders.
- Design scalable technical solutions and maintain architectural documentation and guidelines.
- Advise customers on best practices, solution architecture, technology choices, and optimizing their use of the LogicMonitor platform.
- Conduct proofs of concept to evaluate new features released by PDE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues beyond the scope of standard support.
- Deliver customer training sessions and workshops.
- Gather customer feedback to influence the PDE product roadmap.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in a similar technical role.
- Significant experience with IT infrastructure and/or software development, including compute, storage, databases, networking, application services, big data, and distributed computing.
- Proficiency in virtualization and cloud-native architectures, containerization, observability, DevOps, and Linux, Windows, and network administration and operations.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V, and Xen Server.
- Experience with storage technologies such as NetApp, EMC, HP LeftHand, and Dell EqualLogic.
- Experience with load balancers such as F5 BIG-IP, NetScaler, and Barracuda.
- Experience with WMI, PerfMon, JDBC, SNMP, SMTP, and JMX.
- Experience with web servers such as IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Experience with Active Directory and databases such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on coding or scripting experience with Groovy, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, information and data flows, and API-based solutions.
- Superior oral and written English communication skills, strong technical writing capabilities, and excellent troubleshooting instincts.
- Willingness to travel for onsite training and evangelism.
