Base Salary

$160k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop and evolve infrastructure supporting the development, deployment, and delivery of the Geneos, Opsview, and ITRS Analytics product suite.
Define, document, and promote deployment and system-management best practices with Product, Engineering, Technical Communications, and Support.
Collaborate directly with clients at their sites to guide internal processes and ensure successful stack deployment.
Improve the manageability and supportability of the platform, including defining product features that simplify management.

Require 7+ years of DevOps experience.
Require strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Kubernetes packaging and deployment tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, and Flux.
Require Linux system administration, shell scripting, networking and TCP/IP, cloud technologies, Git, virtualization technologies, and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
Require familiarity with systems and networking security best practices and some programming experience in Python, Java, or .NET.
Desirable experience includes managing production Kubernetes environments, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory, firewalls, VPN configuration, monitoring, and backups.
Preferred experience includes GitOps, Terraform, and configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
