Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of complex software feature development and technical projects.
- Design and execute detailed test plans based on functional requirements and implementation approaches.
- Create reusable automated test scripts and test data with developers using Python.
- Analyze test results, identify coverage gaps, add test scripts, and provide test metrics.
- Manage customer-reported issues and contribute to bug fixes and reusable tools or scripts.
- Participate in project planning and execution to support efficient delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software testing experience concentrated on automation.
- Proficiency with defect tracking systems, code repositories, and IDEs, with exposure to CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in Python and exposure to web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Comprehensive knowledge of testing frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
- Effective collaboration skills and a self-driven approach to continuous learning.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodology.
- Experience in a SaaS-based product company or bootstrapped high-growth startup is a plus.
