Base Salary
$225k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable connector frameworks for enterprise application integrations.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and design patterns for connector development.
- Drive architectural decisions for integrations involving more than 200 enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain connectors for Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, and other enterprise systems.
- Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, fault-tolerant designs, and performance optimizations.
- Resolve complex API integration, authentication, authorization, and data synchronization issues.
- Investigate production issues and improve connector quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, technical training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and support their technical development.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, Support, QE, engineering teams, customers, and partners.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Principal Software Engineer with a SaaS company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Groovy and strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and enterprise application development.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, enterprise integration patterns, and authentication frameworks including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
- Experience designing scalable, high-performance systems and integrating with external enterprise platforms.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies and data modeling for large-scale applications.
- Experience integrating with Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, Active Directory, or similar SaaS and on-premise systems.
- Strong adoption and usage of AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience designing and building AI-driven agents and automation tools for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, incident analysis, and knowledge retrieval.
