Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core services and infrastructure for Roadie’s logistics platform.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks to improve reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and engineering teams to deliver features.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
- Own projects from concept through production while balancing speed and quality.
- Evaluate new technologies and propose improvements to platform systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Golang or Ruby.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
- Experience working with or migrating from a monolithic architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
