Base Salary
$137k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead solution engineering and technical leadership for implementation of approved technologies across the SAP and Payment Hub portfolio.
- Consult on architectural designs to ensure consistency, security, maintainability, and flexibility across systems, technical, and product architectures.
- Prototype complex cross-platform business solutions and research innovative technology recommendations.
- Plan and manage architecture migrations, evaluate hardware and software standards, and oversee design reviews and frameworks.
- Participate in incident management and provide consultative recommendations for viable resolutions.
- Develop technical standards, alternative documents, architectural designs, and technical direction aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with customers, vendors, business stakeholders, product owners, engineering managers, architects, scrum masters, and delivery teams.
- Mentor staff, facilitate cross-team learning and alignment, and improve engineering and production support capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience; a technical master’s degree is preferred.
- More than 10 years of experience with SAP systems.
- Experience with SAP and financial systems is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in software engineering, solution engineering, architecture, or technical leadership in complex enterprise technology environments.
- Ability to design and guide scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across applications, platforms, integrations, and data domains.
- Strong understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns, data strategy, cloud-native technologies, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, observability, and operational readiness.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Security, Compliance, and vendor teams in an Agile/Product operating model.
- Ability to influence without direct authority, facilitate technical decisions, assess trade-offs and risks, and recommend pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical topics to nontechnical stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and improving design quality, delivery practices, and production support maturity.
