Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for Speed shopping experiences.
- Build customer-facing features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Debug production issues and implement platform improvements.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Own the design of components that improve extensibility, scalability, availability, and latency.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
