Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment and release processes.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, environment setup, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting using observability platforms.
- Support platform reliability through performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and automated testing.
- Integrate security controls and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with security teams.
- Support cloud and on-premise environments, including servers, virtual machines, containers, and infrastructure services.
- Contribute to platform modernization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, software development lifecycle practices, networking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Terragrunt, or Ansible.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration and experience managing Apache and JBoss servers.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ or equivalent messaging technologies.
- Experience with AWS and VMware virtualization technologies.
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, and subnetting.
- Scripting and automation experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Dynatrace.
- Preferred qualifications include scalable cloud and infrastructure design, enterprise-scale environments, large software delivery teams, stakeholder collaboration, and relevant cloud or DevOps certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Terraform Associate.
