Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture, implementation, scalability, security, and maintainability of modular e-commerce add-ons.
- Design and implement advanced Laravel and PHP backend logic, including queues, events, and complex database schemas.
- Oversee Vue.js and SingleSpa frontend integration for consistent performance and user experience.
- Lead CI/CD, semantic versioning, Docker-based environments, and stable release processes.
- Maintain production reliability through monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident response in AWS environments.
- Serve as technical lead and final reviewer while mentoring engineers and driving architectural consistency.
- Establish best practices, guardrails, and quality standards for AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building, scaling, and operating complex fullstack web applications in production environments.
- Expert proficiency in PHP 8.x and Laravel, including Middleware, Queues, Events, and Gates/Policies.
- Strong frontend development experience, with Vue.js 3, TypeScript, and Pinia experience preferred.
- Deep architectural expertise in secure, multi-tenant, and distributed systems and strong understanding of SOLID and DRY principles.
- Advanced database and performance engineering experience with MySQL/RDS, schema design, indexing, and Redis caching.
- Experience with Docker-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, semantic versioning, AWS infrastructure, and production monitoring and alerting.
- Strong technical leadership skills, including mentoring, code reviews, complex problem decomposition, and communicating business impact.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, plus current knowledge of AI tools, models, and methodologies.
