Base Salary
$173k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solutions for complex product security and detection engineering challenges affecting digitally connected airplane models.
- Develop technical data and documentation in accordance with system security engineering processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with security testers to validate detection coverage and assess impacts to analysis capabilities.
- Interface with customers and internal stakeholders regarding detection capabilities and continued airworthiness strategies.
- Support sustainment programs that maintain continued product security, safety, and resiliency of in-service airplane models.
- Define and identify product security requirements for suppliers of integrated components and subsystems.
- Collaborate with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry partners to identify risks and improve security standards and requirements.
- Lead and participate in research and development efforts to improve detection capabilities, methods, tools, and technical approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related non-U.S. equivalent qualification.
- At least 9 years of experience in an engineering-related field.
- Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security, and/or cybersecurity.
- Experience working with manufacturing or engineering teammates or in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Preferred experience with system security engineering or systems engineering.
- Preferred experience with network- and host-based Intrusion Detection Systems and Security Incident Event Management.
- Preferred experience analyzing technical data and clearly presenting results in writing and verbally.
- Preferred experience with ACL, SQL Developer, Oracle, XML, MySQL, or Python.
- Preferred experience administering complex infrastructure and software development systems.
- Security+, CISSP, or an equivalent cybersecurity certification is preferred.
- Candidates must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.
- Applicants must be able to work fully onsite in Seattle or Everett, Washington.
