Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services across the trading domain.
- Own features end to end, including schemas, APIs, tests, and UI integration.
- Contribute to real-time infrastructure and client-facing APIs.
- Write integration tests against real dependencies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of production backend experience.
- Strong TypeScript or other strongly typed language background.
- Experience with trading systems, financial infrastructure, or exchange-adjacent domains.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and transactions.
- Experience with a modern Node.js backend framework; NestJS is preferred, with Spring, FastAPI, or similar accepted.
- Experience with SQL and a production ORM, preferably TypeORM.
- Experience with arbitrary-precision decimal arithmetic in financial contexts.
- Integration-first testing discipline.
- Ability to ship React and Next.js features to completion.
- Bonus experience includes event sourcing, crypto exchanges, major exchange APIs, AWS, Terraform, Turborepo, Nx, KYC/compliance workflows, or crypto-native systems.
