Lead Developer – ESS LTSA Monitoring & Availability Dashboard (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
- Design scalable architecture for a centralized ESS availability monitoring dashboard.
- Build data ingestion integrations for Customer EMS through the Insight Portal, SCADA telemetry, and ticketing system APIs.
- Develop configurable contract logic supporting LTSA formulas, exclusions, thresholds, availability calculations, KPI comparisons, and penalty logic.
- Create a single-page web portal with global overviews, site-to-inverter/DC-block drill-downs, real-time availability metrics, and LD-risk warnings.
- Integrate ticketing data, link availability drops to active tickets, and provide root-cause visibility.
- Implement RBAC, audit logs, secure APIs, and regional and customer data segregation.
- Automate availability reporting, monthly LTSA compliance exports, and early-warning notifications.
- Coordinate with ESS engineering, remote monitoring, HQ IT, and contract management teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
- Strong experience with React, Angular, or Vue for SPA frontend development.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Python, .NET, or Go.
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL, and time-series databases.
- Integration experience with SCADA or industrial telemetry, IoT or energy platforms, and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS, cybersecurity best practices, and RBAC.
- Knowledge of utility-scale BESS, PV plants, SCADA, and EMS platforms.
- Understanding of technical and contractual availability calculations, SLA/LTSA structures, performance guarantees, and LD frameworks.
- Ability to translate contracts into configurable application logic and coordinate across technical and contract-management stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, structured working style, and attention to detail.
