Responsibilities
- Design, own, and ship secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Coordinate product features across teams and geographies, managing dependencies through completion.
- Make architectural changes to modernize applications and improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations, review customer feedback, and debug production issues.
- Collaborate on design and code reviews and support team knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve organizational productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, testing, and shipping software.
- Proficiency in service technologies and web technologies such as C#, Java, HTML5, JavaScript or TypeScript, Webpack, and React.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Technical aptitude in architecture, design, development, debugging, and testing.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Interest in AI, machine learning, data science, or related technologies, along with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
