Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure observability requirements are met before production deployments.
- Review and approve production deployment processes and conduct post-deployment sanity tests.
- Provide Level 3 support for incidents escalated from Level 2 teams.
- Troubleshoot incidents, determine whether development changes are required, and assign tasks to appropriate development teams.
- Manage complex configurations and provide service-restoration solutions.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster after completing the onboarding period.
- Conduct deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis after major incidents.
- Analyze observability data and incident reports to identify weaknesses and propose reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement eCommerce solution enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a reliability engineering role, preferably in eCommerce or SaaS environments.
- Proficiency with Grafana, Akamai mPulse, and Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of headless architecture and API integrations.
- Experience with TypeScript and frontend technologies such as React.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills in English.
- Understanding of commercetools is an additional advantage.
- A development background and experience working in international, cross-functional teams are preferred.
