Responsibilities
- Evaluate requirements, problem definitions, solution development, and proposed solutions for operational feasibility.
- Develop, document, install, test, and demonstrate software solutions and system specifications.
- Conduct systems analysis and recommend changes to policies, procedures, and operations.
- Obtain, evaluate, license, and approve software products from vendors.
- Analyze development and service issues and communicate findings.
- Implement agile acquisition/software development techniques and DevOps processes for cloud and non-cloud applications.
- Work with users and network or systems teams to verify business requirements and integrate applications into existing infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in a software engineering role, including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, although additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- In-depth experience with all phases of the software development life cycle and broad knowledge of software languages.
- Experience with software design and working directly with end users to verify business requirements.
- Ability to coordinate with network or systems teams to integrate software applications.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, communication, and professional collaboration skills.
- U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
- Ability to meet U.S. government security investigation and classified-information access eligibility requirements.
