Responsibilities

Drive sales by nurturing prospects and supporting corporate customers.
Conduct discovery, qualification, technical demos, and proof of value workshops.
Address technical questions or objections from customers and provide solutions.
Produce reusable collateral to help customers adopt API-first practices.
Understand customer workflows and promote best practices in API development.
Share customer feedback with relevant teams and advocate for customer needs.
Stay updated on competitive landscape and trends in the API market.
Create proof of concept integrations and maintain customer sandbox environments.
Act as a technical intermediary between sales and other teams.

4+ years of corporate sales or solutions engineering experience.
3+ years of software development experience.
Experience with APIs and data platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-facing experience with various levels of technologists.
Deep understanding of APIs and experience in producing and consuming them.
Knowledge of modern development methodologies and DevOps.
Familiarity with SaaS sales processes and cloud service security concerns.
Experience with sales strategies like MEDDIC and Challenger Sale.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
