Base Salary
$160k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the platform’s frontend and backend from prototypes through production.
- Integrate the platform with cloud infrastructure and AI services, including production LLM APIs.
- Partner with business teams to translate ambiguous workflows and requirements into working software.
- Implement secure authentication, access control, and data governance for sensitive business data.
- Improve engineering practices covering testing, deployment, and observability as the platform matures.
- Deliver core authentication, the application shell, data model, and initial automated workflows within the first 90 days.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with production ownership across frontend and backend systems.
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with FastAPI or a comparable asynchronous Python web framework.
- Strong React and TypeScript experience.
- Experience integrating LLM or AI APIs into production applications; agentic or tool-calling experience is preferred.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, with Azure preferred.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication flows.
- Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders to define product requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Experience with agent frameworks or tool-calling protocols such as MCP is preferred.
- Experience with background job processing, Redis or similar systems, regulated or data-sensitive industries, and enterprise document platforms such as Box or SharePoint is preferred.
