Base Salary
$141k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop performant full-stack web applications for a real-time satellite orchestration platform.
- Collaborate with engineers in a self-organized Scrum team and contribute to emergent software designs.
- Iterate on customer-focused features and adapt based on feedback.
- Serve as a frontend or backend subject matter expert while understanding the full technology stack.
- Partner with UX designers to implement efficient and attractive workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and help improve the technology and team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications, especially with React, Spring Boot, Python, or Go.
- Understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of microservice architectures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance are required.
- Preferred qualifications include Next.js or TanStack, Redis, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, CI/CD frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile development, UX/UI design, and leadership or mentoring experience.
Benefits
- Base compensation is listed at $140,500.00-$221,500.00 annually, with a location-specific range of $174,000.00-$261,000.00 annually for certain San Jose, San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City metropolitan locations.
- Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided, along with medical, financial, and other benefits.
- The role may require travel of up to 10%.
