Base Salary
$133k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and continuously deploy software, with deployments occurring daily or more often.
- Own software projects end to end from design through rollout.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, product designers, accounting experts, internal customers, and stakeholders.
- Create technical specifications and testing and rollout plans.
- Write technical designs, contribute to code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
- Investigate production issues, improve system reliability, and support services as needed.
- Mentor and sponsor teammates and help them grow.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Production experience with Python or Vue, or with other JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong coding fundamentals and the ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Good product and systems judgment in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
- Experience working effectively on a remote team with strong asynchronous and written communication habits.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach others.
- Preferred experience with Vue in production, accounting systems, double-entry bookkeeping, revenue recognition, agentic or AI-assisted production systems, and third-party APIs or external systems such as payment processors.
- The role is available for remote employment only in California, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
