Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications.
- Lead architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale, complex financial applications.
- Own front-end, back-end, or full-stack design and development of product features.
- Build scalable, multi-tiered applications, systems, platforms, and services using modern languages, frameworks, design patterns, and technologies.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Gather and document stakeholder requirements and participate in technical reviews and strategic planning.
- Communicate software features and technical designs to users, technical teams, and management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to resolve critical issues according to defined SLAs.
- Handle data and services in compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, regulatory, and company policies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology.
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- Knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming languages, frameworks, and systems.
- Experience with databases and ORM frameworks.
- Experience delivering scalable solutions and applying systems design skills.
- Experience working within a DevOps delivery model across requirements, design, development, testing, security, CI/CD, and operations.
- Ability to select and implement algorithms, use appropriate data structures, and contribute to algorithm development.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies as needed.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, resourcefulness, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
