Responsibilities
- Build and manage cloud foundation platforms using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Configure AWS, Azure, or GCP services including IAM, VPC, EC2, and Kubernetes.
- Optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Develop observability, logging, and alerting frameworks using Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning for source code, containers, and infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities and configuration issues across cloud and application environments.
- Recommend and implement cloud resource organization, subscription structures, access controls, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams on secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional IT experience, including at least 5 years focused on cloud, data engineering, or DevOps.
- Strong demonstrable expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git/GitOps practices.
- Familiarity with SQL and data lake or data warehouse architectures.
